Please choose one of the following two methods.
Connect the grip implement to the top of the scale and securely fix the bottom of the scale to a stable anchor point. Pull on the implement; the peak reading shown on the scale will be recorded as your result.
1.1. Clearly show the scale reset to zero in front of the camera.
1.2. A digital scale with a peak-hold function must be used.
1.3. The displayed unit must be kilograms (kg).
1.4. After the attempt, clearly show the peak reading close to the camera.
1.5. The video must be unedited, unobscured, non-mirrored, well lit, and recorded in high definition with clear details.
1.6. Your face and full body must remain visible to prevent impersonation.
1.7. Neither the working hand nor the supporting hand may brace against the body or any surrounding object.
1.8. A side-view camera angle is recommended so reviewers can clearly confirm that the working hand is not braced against the body.
1.9. The entire process must be completed continuously in one uncut take.
1.10. Wrist straps, bandages, or similar items must not be wrapped around the hand or implement. Chalk may be used on both the hand and implement.
1.11. Only your best left-hand or right-hand result will be added to or updated on the leaderboard.
2.1. The load must be visibly lifted completely off the ground during the attempt.
2.2. You must also prepare a peak-hold digital body-weight scale displaying kilograms (kg).
2.3. After the attempt, weigh the load and clearly show the displayed weight close to the camera.
2.4. The video must be unedited, unobscured, non-mirrored, well lit, and recorded in high definition with clear details.
2.5. Your face and full body must remain visible to prevent impersonation.
2.6. Neither the working hand nor the supporting hand may brace against the body or any surrounding object.
2.7. A side-view camera angle is recommended so reviewers can clearly confirm that the working hand is not braced against the body.
2.8. The complete process must be recorded continuously in one uncut take. Separate recordings are not allowed.
2.9. Wrist straps, bandages, or similar items must not be wrapped around the hand or implement. Chalk may be used on both the hand and implement.
2.10. The load must be weighed on a body-weight scale. A peak-hold hanging scale must not be used to pull and weigh the load.
2.11. Only your best left-hand or right-hand result will be added to or updated on the leaderboard.
3.1. The participant’s face is not shown throughout the video.
3.2. The camera angle prevents reviewers from confirming whether the implement, load, or working hand touched another object for assistance.
3.3. The entire attempt is performed too far from the camera.
3.4. When using Method 2, using a peak-hold scale to pull and weigh the load.
